KRO-NCRV creates impactful programs that matter, such as “Pointer”, “Keuringsdienst van waarde”, and “Boer zoekt vrouw”. These shows offer fresh perspectives, stimulate alternative thinking and inspire action. “Pointer” specifically serves as KRO-NCRV’s platform for investigative journalism across TV, radio and online. TV and radio hosts, data journalists, and researchers deliver revealing, in-depth stories with societal impact. It’s a platform that democratizes modern investigative journalism techniques like crowdsourcing and open-source intelligence for all Dutch citizens. Our ability to achieve all of this is partly thanks to the contributions of KRO-NCRV members.

A question we get on a regular basis is why do I need to become a member and support KRO-NCRV?

KRO-NCRV needs to recruit members because they require financial support to produce programs that align with their identity and the interests of their viewers. When individuals become members of KRO-NCRV, they contribute to making these programs possible. The relationship between KRO-NCRV and the NPO is as follows: the NPO coordinates and distributes programs from various broadcasters, including KRO-NCRV, to ensure a diverse range of programs is available to the Dutch public. However, KRO-NCRV remains responsible for the content of their programs and takes into account the preferences of their members when creating these programs.

Therefore, become a member for only 10 euros per year and help KRO-NCRV produce programs like “Pointer” and “De Slimste Mens”.
